Location Sanders Rd, Haverhill, MA 01830
Area 160+ acres blending into Winnekenni Park Conservation Area, with over a mile of trail connecting with the Winnekenni trail system
Parking Along Mill Street, at the rooftop boat launch, and in the large parking lot at the end of Sanders Road.  The Sanders Road lot also provides access to the trailered-boat launch and the public beach.

All passes can be purchased online. To receive parking sticker, registration must match the info collected at registration. Passes are unique to each vehicle and non-transferable. If you have difficulty registering for a pass, please contact the Haverhill Human Services Department at 978-374-2388

Frequently Asked Questions

Walk-ins are free; those using the boat ramp, playground, adjacent walking trails, and shoreline fishing parking have free entry. Designated spots for these free activities are clearly marked in the lower lot. Boat trailer parking is in the middle lot, please park there. Swimming Parking Spaces are all those not posted for other activities. (See the lot map for a visual on which spots are available for each activity)

To view the most recent test results, you may reference the State's interactive data dashboard for water quality for beaches; the portal will show our weekly test results reported to the State and inform you of our or any other beaches in the State that are closed and the reasons for closure.

Water Quality Report: Swimming area water is not tested outside the active beach months.

The park will be staffed with Park Ambassadors, who are responsible for helping to keep the park clean, performing water tests, assisting with ticket registration, and reminding visitors of the rules and regulations. Park Ambassadors are there to help you if you have questions; they will be recognizable as they wear bright-colored t-shirts and safety vests.
